Hammock Landing DRI

Hammock Landing is situated on a +100 acre tract of land that is now permitted to support 750,000 ft2 of Community Center retail space. This Development of Regional Impact project is located in West Melbourne, Florida. Atlantic Environmental completed the necessary tasks to acquire the environmental permits allowing this project. During this process, Atlantic Environmental handled all aspects of wetland permitting and mitigation, as well as the completion of wildlife surveys, permitting, and relocation. Atlantic Environmental interfaced with numerous regulatory agencies throughout this process, including Brevard County Natural Resource Management Office, St. Johns River Water Management District, US Army Corps of Engineers, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council.
